Description:
Receive RF lighting, security and environmental sensor and remotes.
Software security panel.
Graphical charts for environmental sensors and electricity/gas/water usage.
Control cheap RF lamp and appliance modules and electrical curtains with the RFXCOM transmitter.
Up to 4 RF receiver interfaces and 1 RF transmitter can be connected using an USB, LAN or WLAN interface to the PC.
The USB interface is for local use only and the LAN/WLAN interfaces can be used for local and remote monitoring and control.
The LAN and WLAN interfaces can also be connected via the Internet to monitor and control remote locations.
Receive RF sensors with the RFXCOM RF receivers:
The plug-in processes the received RF data from a lot of wireless RF sensors and RF remotes. Those can be for example:
-
NEW HomeEasy and KlikAan-KlikUit
with automatic code system. (req. receiver V24)
- X10 security sensors
and remotes,
- X10 lighting sensors and remotes,
- Digimax,
- RFXSensor for temperature, humidity, barometric pressure,
- RFXPower for electricity usage metering,
- RFXMeter with RFXPwr and RFXPulse for electricity/gas/water metering,
- Visonic security sensors and keyfobs,
- KlikOn-KlikOff/DomiaLite/NEXA/BBSB/ELRO AB600 (chime, remotes, wall switches),
- ATI Remote Wonder.
- Oregon Scientific sensors and body weight monitors, (see the list at the end of this page)
The battery status of Oregon Scientific sensors is automatically hided until a battery empty signal is received.
Message Panels:
The plug-in has a build-in Sensor Message Panel and Security Message Panel.
A status display gives the possibility to check error messages that have occurred.
The last displayed message can be used for an SMS message if an alarm or warning occurs.
Synchronize with X10 alarm panel:
The arm/disarm status of this software alarm panel can be transmitted in RF to synchronize an X10 alarm panel.
Options for security sensors:
- button to temporarily disable the sensor (if the sensor is in error or battery empty)
- delayed sensor (to enter or leave the house if the panel is armed)
- "away only" sensor (mainly used to disable motion sensors if armed-home)
- active sensor (sensor is used in the security panel)
Control RF devices with the RFXCOM RF transmitter:
The plug-in can control electrical curtains and different types of RF lamp/appliance modules.
- X10 lighting,
- Arm/Disarm X10 alarm panels like SC9000,
- KlikOn-KlikOff, DomiaLite, ELRO, Flamingo, NEXA, BBSB,
- HomeEasy, (with preset dim levels)
- Harrison electrical curtains.
Homeseer status page:
Click here for a configuration example with KlikOn-KlikOff, On/Off and dimmable HomeEasy modules, a Harrison electrical curtain, Oregon Scientific sensors and body weight scale, RFXSensor, RFXMeter for power usage and gas metering, build-in Alarm panel with status and display, alarm sensors, for the postbox a security sensor but not part of the alarm system and a manually disabled security sensor “Test”.
Configuration web page:
RFXCOM web configuration page to configure the receivers, transmitter, input sensors, security sensors and RF output devices.
Graphical chart web pages:
RFXUtility - To display charts of power, gas and water usage,
RFXSensor - To display charts of RFXSensor measured values,
RFXWeather - To display charts of Oregon Scientific weather sensors,
RFXWeight - To display charts of body weights.
Scripts:
Two vb script files are supplied to store data in the RFXCOM MS-Access database for use in the charts.
- RFXCOM2.vb must run once every hour and samples the data from input sensors that you have selected in the configuration.
- RFXWeight.vb can be used to sample body weight from the Oregon Body Weight Monitor
Two example scripts are supplied to send an SMS on an Security System Alarm or a Sensor Message Alert or Warning.
Database:
The delivered RFXCOM MS-Access database has all tables implemented to store the sampled data of the different sensor. This sampled data is used to display the charts.
Requirements:
- HomeSeer 2.2.0.66 or later.
- Microsoft .NET Frameworks
Microsoft .NET Framework Version 1.1 Redistributable Package
Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 Service Pack 1
Microsoft .NET Framework Version 2.0 Redistributable Package (x86)
Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 Service Pack 1 (x86)
Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0 Redistributable Package
Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0 Service Pack 1
For best performance:
- 310MHz X10 receiver with version 32 or up,
- 433.92MHz X10-Oregon receiver with version 24 or up,
- The receivers for Visonic sensors with version 8C or up.
