TERMS OF WEBSITE USE
This page (together with the documents referred to on it) tells you the terms of use on which you may make use of our website www.rfxcom.com (our site), whether as a guest or a registered user. Please read these terms of use carefully before you start to use the site. By using our site, you indicate that you accept these terms of use and that you agree to abide by them. If you do not agree to these terms of use, please refrain from using our site.
www.rfxcom.com is a site operated by RFXCOM.
ACCESSING OUR SITE
Access to our site is permitted on a temporary basis, and we reserve the right to withdraw or amend the service we provide on our site without notice (see below). We will not be liable if for any reason our site is unavailable at any time or for any period.
From time to time, we may restrict access to some parts of our site, or our entire site, to users who have registered with us.
If you choose, or you are provided with, a user identification code, password or any other piece of information as part of our security procedures, you must treat such information as confidential, and you must not disclose it to any third party. We have the right to disable any user identification code or password, whether chosen by you or allocated by us, at any time, if in our opinion you have failed to comply with any of the provisions of these terms of use.
You are responsible for making all arrangements necessary for you to have access to our site. You are also responsible for ensuring that all persons who access our site through your internet connection are aware of these terms, and that they comply with them.
OUR CONTRACT
When you place an order, you will receive an acknowledgement e-mail confirming receipt of your order. This email will only be an acknowledgement and will not constitute acceptance of your order. A contract between us for the purchase of the goods will not be formed until your payment has been approved by us and items despatched.
PAYMENT
We accept a bank transfer or online payment through a secure environment by PayPal and transactions are shown in Euro’s.
PRICING
All products offered by RFXCOM are priced in Euro’s and are inclusive VAT where applicable.
Whilst we try and ensure that all details, descriptions and prices which appear on this Website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of any goods which you have ordered we will inform you of this as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel and you have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund.
DELIVERY
Delivery will be by PostNL. We will also deliver outside The Netherlands and the cost will be calculated when you checkout. You can choose to have your goods delivered to an alternative address to your home, if you wish. Please be aware that we will require a signature on delivery, so it may be more convenient to have the delivery made to your place of work or a friend, if no one is available at home to sign. If the goods are delivered to an alternative address and signed for by someone other than the purchaser, then the order is deemed to have been delivered and no claims for non-delivery will be accepted. Our couriers will attempt to deliver to the address you give us and will leave a card if they are unable to deliver. If after 5 days of the first attempted delivery, you do not arrange a convenient delivery time or collect your order, the goods will be returned to us at your cost and we will refund you the value of your order less all the delivery charges we incur. Should you want us to redeliver or have your order redirected to another address there will be an additional charge which we will inform you of at that time.
AVAILABILITY
All delivery dates are estimates and are subject to availability. We will inform you if an item will be out of stock.
YOUR ACCOUNT
When using the website, you are responsible for ensuring that your account details and passwords remain confidential and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities occurring under your account and password. If you believe this information has become known to someone else or that your account is being misused contact us immediately. When registering your details ensure that the information you provide us with is complete and correct and that you advise us as soon as possible should this change or you wish your details removed. RFXCOM reserves the right to edit or remove content, refuse access to the website or cancel orders at our discretion. If we cancel an order, it will be without charge to you and you will be notified immediately.
CUSTOMS
Goods ordered from RFXCOM for delivery outside the European Community may be subject to import duties and taxes, these will be levied once the parcel reaches its destination country. Any charges for customs must be paid by you, we have no control over these and do not know what they may be as customs policies vary from country to country. Contact your local customs department for full details and regulations.
Warranty and conformity
RFXCOM guarantees that the delivered products meet the requirements of usability, reliability and durability as intended by the contract of both parties, and is therefore responsible for the warranty of the product delivered to you.
The warranty period is 2 years for RFXCOM products. Other products are subject to the manufacturer's warranty period.
RFXCOM is never responsible for the ultimate suitability of the goods for each individual application by the customer, nor for any advice regarding the use or application of the business.
You are obliged to immediately inspect the goods upon receipt. If it appears that the product delivered is wrong, inadequate or incomplete, you must (before proceeding to return to RFXCOM) report these defects immediately in writing to RFXCOM. Any defects or faulty goods should delivered should be notified in writing to RFXCOM within 14 days after delivery. Return of Goods must be in original packaging (including accessories and documentation) and in new condition. Operation after detection of failure, damage occurring after detection of failure, encumbrance and / or resale after detection of failure, does void the right to claim and return.
If complaints can be upheld by RFXCOM, RFXCOM will at its option or replace the goods delivered free of charge or the customer a written scheme of compensation, provided that the liability of RFXCOM and therefore the amount of damages is limited up to the invoice amount of the relevant property, or (at RFXCOM) to the maximum in the case concerned the liability of RFXCOM amount covered. Any liability of RFXCOM for any other form of damage is excluded, including additional compensation in any form whatsoever, compensation for indirect or consequential damages or damages for lost profits.
This warranty does not apply if: A) as long as the purchaser against RFXCOM is in default; B) the customer has repaired the delivered goods themselves and / or processed by third parties to repair and / or changed. C) delivered goods have been exposed to abnormal conditions or otherwise careless handling or contrary to the instructions of RFXCOM and / or instructions on the packaging; D) were defective in whole or in part the result of regulations that the government has made or will make regarding the nature or quality of the materials used;
RETURNS
You may return an item for any reason, providing you notify us by email for a RMA number, within 14 days of the date you received your order so long as it remains in a saleable condition within original packaging. We will refund the price of the item, minus any delivery costs. You will be required to arrange and pay for the return, the goods should be well packed and clearly labelled with your RMA number and sent back to:

It is your responsibility to obtain proof of postage as should a returned parcel become damaged or lost we do not compensate. You will be responsible for the cost of returning cancelled or unwanted goods.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
We are the owner or the licensee of all intellectual property rights in our site, and in the material published on it. Those works are protected by copyright laws and treaties around the world. All such rights are reserved.
You may print off one copy, and may download extracts, of any page(s) from our site for your personal reference.
You must not modify the paper or digital copies of any materials you have printed off or downloaded in any way, and you must not use any illustrations, photographs, video or audio sequences or any graphics separately from any accompanying text.
Our status as the authors of material on our site must always be acknowledged.
You must not use any part of the materials on our site for commercial purposes without obtaining a licence to do so from us or our licensors. You obtain the right to use any part of the materials on our site with RFXCOM products only.
If you print off, copy or download any part of our site in breach of these terms of use, your right to use our site will cease immediately and you must, at our option, return or destroy any copies of the materials you have made.
RELIANCE ON INFORMATION POSTED
Commentary and other materials posted on our site are not intended to amount to advice on which reliance should be placed. We therefore disclaim all liability and responsibility arising from any reliance placed on such materials by any visitor to our site, or by anyone who may be informed of any of its contents.
Any RoHS status information provided is based upon the manufacturer's own data and passed on in good faith, without responsibility or liability.

RFXCOM HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE IS NOT INTENDED FOR USE IN THE OPERATION OF NUCLEAR FACILITIES, AIRCRAFT NAVIGATION OR COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS, AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL SYSTEMS, LIFE SUPPORT MACHINES OR OTHER EQUIPMENT IN WHICH THE FAILURE OF THE RFXCOM HARDWARE OR SOFTWARE COULD LEAD TO DEATH, PERSONAL INJURY, OR SEVERE PHYSICAL OR ENVIRONMENTAL DAMAGE.
INFORMATION ABOUT YOU AND YOUR VISITS TO OUR SITE
We process information about you in accordance with our privacy policy. By using our site, you consent to such processing and you warrant that all data provided by you is accurate.
VIRUSES, HACKING AND OTHER OFFENCES
You must not misuse our site by knowingly introducing viruses, trojans, worms, logic bombs or other material which is malicious or technologically harmful.
