Description of the 433.92MHz RFXCOM transmitter:
This transmitter is able to transmit RF signals in:
Non-US X10 lighting format,
Non-US X10 security format,
Digimax format,
RFXSensor format,
RFXPower format,
RFXMeter format,
KlikOn-KlikOff / NEXA / ELRO AB600 / Domia Lite / BBSB format,
Harrison electrical curtain format.
HomeEasy format
KlikAan-KlikUit with automatic code system
The USB transmitter set contains one transmitter.
The handshake cable can be connected to an RFXCOM receiver. To function properly, the RFXCOM master receiver must have the same frequency as the transmitter.
The handshake cable disables receiving in the RFXCOM receiver when the RFXCOM transmitter is transmitting. The transmitted data is then not received again by the RFXCOM receiver to avoid a loop.
Before the RFXCOM transmitter starts transmitting it does a transmit request to the RFXCOM receiver. If the receiver doesn't detect an RF signal it allows the transmitter to transmit the RF signal. This avoids RF collisions.
If the handshake cable is not used then a connection must been made between the middle and top contact on the jack-connector in the receiver. Otherwise the receiver doesn't work properly. Without handshake cable the transmitter can be initialized to operate without handshake signal and the transmitter starts immediately transmitting when data is send by the PC.
For more information see the transmitter documentation at the download page.
Capabilities:
output up to 8.5dBm.
range >300ft with an RFXCOM receiver.
Handshake signal to allow an RF receiver to receive on the same frequency.
The transmitter with standard protocol has software configurable Coding and Input format:
24 bits KlikOn-KlikOff, NEXA, ELRO AB600, Domia Lite
32 bits 32 bits converted to X10 definitions,
32 bit direct,
up to 48 bits with number of bits to transmit.
enable/disable X10, KlikOn-KlikOff+NEXA+ELRO AB600+Domia Lite and/or Harrison.
In 32 and 48 bits modes the X10 codes are translated to KlikOn-KlikOff, NEXA, ELRO AB600, Domia Lite and Harrison RF signals.
The RS232 data format is 4800bd, 8 bits data, no parity, 1 stop bit.
