Description of the USB, LAN or WLAN 310MHz X10 receiver.

This receiver is able to receive:

• The signals from US X10 lighting and X10 security sensors,

• RFXSensor devices (310MHz)

The USB/LAN/WLAN receiver set contains a master receiver and a connector for an optional slave receiver.

The function of the master is to control the data flow on the communication interface.

Capabilities of these receivers:

• Receiver sensitivity of -106dBm with SAW filter input.

• Jamming detection in X10 mode.

• Receive and decode X10 RF, X10 security, NEC packets up to 48 bits.

• Receive the RFXSensor signals.

• 2 receivers on 1 interface. (1 Master and 1 Slave)

• Handshake signal to allow a RF transmitter to transmit on the same frequency.

• Software selectable decoding and output:

  32 bit direct,  (W800 compatible mode)

  variable length mode with number of bits received.

• The RS232 data format is 4800bd or 38400bd, 8 bits data, no parity, 1 stop bit.

• BNC antenna connection.

DIY extension possibilities:

There are connection possibilities for a pushbutton switch and a relay.
When the pushbutton input is low, the device address of a received X10 command is saved. A received On-Off command for this device address will switch the Relay output.
