Description of the 868.95MHz  RFXCOM Visonic receiver:

This receiver is able to receive:

• Visonic sensors using the PowerCode format.

• Visonic keyfobs using the CodeSecure format.

The USB/LAN/WLAN receiver set contains a master receiver and a connector for an optional slave receiver.

The function of the master is to control the communication on the communication interface. If the slave receiver needs the communication interface to transmit data, it will send a request to the master and the master will allow the slave to transmit the received data on the communication interface at the time that the master doesn't need the communication interface. By this mechanism the data of the receivers is never transmitted on the communication interface at the same time and no data is disturbed.

Capabilities of this receiver:

• Receiver sensitivity of -106dBm with SAW filter input.

• Receive and decode Visonic sensors and remotes.

• Receive in RAW mode.

• 2 receivers on 1 interface. (1 Master and 1 Slave)

• Handshake signal to allow a RF transmitter to transmit on the same frequency.

• Software selectable decoding and output:

  32 bits, Visonic data translated to X10 codes,

  32 bit direct, Visonic data translated to X10 codes (W800 compatible mode)

  variable mode: up to 48 bits with number of bits received, Visonic data is translated to X10 codes

  up to 96 bits Visonic data with number of bits received

  RAW mode - displays pulse timing.

• The RS232 data format is 4800bd, 8 bits data, no parity, 1 stop bit
  or 38400bd. (software selectable)

Important remark:

The software version of an X10 receiver installed in the same USB interface needs to be version 9 or higher.

DIY extension possibilities:

There are connection possibilities for a pushbutton switch and a relay.
When the pushbutton input is low, the device address of a received Visonic command is saved. A received On-Off command for this device address will switch the Relay output.
